We are excited that you are joining our Bible reading initiative this year. We pray that you will find this journey through the Scripture to be a rewarding and spiritually enriching one.

The Bible Project has produced a series of short, animated videos on each book in the Bible. This includes an eight-minute overview of the New Testament. Watching this video before January 1 will provide you with a high-level overview of the New Testament and where each book fits. Click here to watch the video.
Attached to this email is a booklet we have developed to help you through this journey. It includes some guidance as well as the reading plan for the year. This booklet will also be available in a paper format if you prefer. They will be available on Sunday mornings at the Rooted table in the lobby.

We will be offering you encouragement and help each step along the journey. But to gain the most from your reading journey, we encourage you to have a partner. This could be a spouse or other family member, a friend, or even your life group. You do not have to read together each day. But it will be helpful to have someone you can share with periodically. If you cannot find a partner, contact the office, and we will help you.

And finally, if you have any questions anywhere along the way, you can respond to this email or any of the periodic emails and texts we send out. And someone will get back to you ASAP.
